And so, the short wait is all but over; the end of summer school was followed by an interesting experience helping out at Prepare, and then the dust has settled, and we are ready for the start of Fall Semester 2007!!!
There is still a lingering sense of fatigue from a truly exhausting summer school, but I guess to put it in a more positive sense, at least the momentum of working consistently is still in me, and that should put me in good stead for the start of Fall semester!
Besides, I thought my involvement with Prepare 2007 has inviograted me somewhat! I made a bunch of really good friends, both with the volunteers and the participants, especially with my Singaporean seniors and with my siblings! I had a great time hanging out with my siblings, Eve, Katie, Nic, and Inchita, bringing around ctown, chilling by libe slope, fiddling with water @ Trumann's Park, and later today, we are heading out to P Mall for more shopping and dinner! What an awesome bunch of siblings we are! :)
And Fall semester promises to be the best semester year yet! And what more can you ask for? Finally liberated from the ghosts of Comm Science after finishing off my Com Science requirements with an A in my CS 211, and taking awesome and diverse classes, from Finance Statement Analysis with the Johnson School of Management, to MicroEcon 313 and Jap Culture through Film Studies, and or course, my ORIE core classes Optimization and Stats! It's gonna be a really hectic and relentless period of serious studying, but at the same time, it promises to be the best semester yet! I m truly relishing the prospect of pushing myself to the fullest.
And hereby, I want to be really daring and set myself a bold target of getting 5 A+s and an A for my 6 courses. I know it sounds ridiculously hard, and i know I am probably going to fall short of it, but then, we need to trust our capabilities, and I am confident I can do my best in each and every course! The most important thing is, I need to be really focused this semester and ensure no repeat of last semester! And when you have put in effort, you will be rewarded, and I hope it's the case for me this semester!
I know I can do it, and at the same time, have great fun! Gambatte neh!
